With no shortage of hotels in the Times Square area, it always comes down to a question of what one hotel offers over another. The Westin New York Times Square provides its guests with deluxe accommodations in a sleek, modern package: an oasis of comfort and revitalization right in the Crossroads of the World. In keeping with its Westin brand, a multi-colored glass exterior of the hotel encloses the lushly decorated common areas and private guest rooms. At night, a beam of light projects from the top of the hotel, serving as a beacon of sorts for the tired and weary looking for a place to rest in the City that Never Sleeps.
In addition to 50 floors of over 860 guest rooms and suites, the Westin encompasses Shula's Steak House (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and Bar, quick-bite eatery Bar 10, a WestinWORKOUT fitness center, and a full-service spa. Both Shula's and Bar 10 offer guests healthy and organic dining options. In fact, the Westin was named one of the Top 10 Healthiest Hotels, and all areas within the hotel are also non-smoking.

The gym provides both the cardio machines seen here, weights, and personal trainer appointments are available upon request.
The guestrooms themselves are surprisingly spacious given the Times Square-location of the hotel. king-bedded and double-bedded rooms are available, and we were shown both types. Below is the corner king room.
All guestrooms come equipped with a Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath, a mini-bar, safe, flat-screen TV, and individually controlled thermostat. Below is a standard double-double guest room.
Room category upgrades are also available upon request. One such an upgrade includes access to the Atrium Club, a separate wing of the hotel reserved exclusively for upgraded guests.
Apologies for the poor image quality, but what you see up top is a downward shot of the main common area of the separate Atrium wing, and on the bottom a straight-on shot of the different floors. The aforementioned beam of light also projects from the back wall of the Atrium Club (not seen).
