Hello Everyone,
Today I would like to introduce one of the best dry pot I ever had in Alhambra to you all!
But first, most might have a question like, what is dry pot? Is it same as hot pot?
Hot pot and dry pot are actually closely related in Chinese cuisine, but each offers enjoyable differences for diners.
simply speaking, hot pot is served with spicy broth, but dry pot not.
If you want to taste the hot and spicy flavor without the sweaty heat of huddling over a boiling pot of hot broth when dinning, dry pot is your best choice.
In dry pot, there are normally one or two kinds of meat served as the core of the entree (normally you can choose chicken meat, rabbit meat, beef, shrimp, or a mix of two kinds of meat), along with all kinds of vegetables, usually potatoes, cucumber, lotus root, onions, etc., each keeping its distinct flavor while blending marvelously together.
Speaking of dry pot, this place I went was the best one I ever founded.
As you need to choose your base for dry pot, there is a counter right after you entered the restaurant, showing all ingredients you could choose, no matter meat or vegetables.
Restaurant itself is bright and clean, good places for friends or family.
Here comes the main dish! After you picked your own ingredients, they gonna cooked them all together for you. And it was pretty fast!!!
Also you could choose the level of spicy you like. No worries for all types of people.. I would recommend to choose medium if you like spicy sichuan cuisine. But if you are not that confident of yourself, you could always start with mild.
This is the must-dry kitchen! Try it or you might regret!
