KOREAN BBQ PLUS

At the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown, there is a popular fast food place named

Korean BBQ PLUS, located at the 4th Floor at the Food Court side of the Hotel.

Ms, Michelle Kim, (owner) started the business in January, 1990. Ms. Michelle pretty much had managed this

store for almost 20 years. She live in Japan during her younger years, and pretty much speaks

the language which makes it easy for her to communicate with the Japanese visitors staying at the hotel

as well as the local Japanese working class at this downtown area..

The restaurant does serve hotel guests and the surrounding business offices during lunch hour. They are open 6 days a week. They do specialize in Korean BBQ and does offer a variety of Korean Food that includes the famous KIMCHEE (pickles). They have survived the business economy trend by continuing servicing the asian customers on the famous Westin Bonaventure. I frequently visit this restaurant for lunch every week and my favorite menu is called the "Cook Bap" (Sorontan). This soup is really good, it has bits and pieces of beef, glass noodles, green onions, and egg. It is served with Rice and Kimchi pickles. They also have combination meal like Beef and Chicken, with Chap tsae (glass noodle) and Rice. Prices are reasonable and the quality is really good at their price. The food is always hot and

steaming or sizzling !! depending on the menu.
