MEXICO INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE
This year is Mexico's Bicentenial Independence
Day.
This is the oldest and longest running
Mexican Independence Day parade in the US.
Los Angeles has hosted this annual parade
for over 53-years.
LA has one of the largest Mexican populations
outside of Mexico.
This yearly celebration usually draws over
200,000 people.
People line p along Cesar Chavez Avenue
in East Los Angeles for the day long
parade.
The parade has marching bands.
And colorful floats.
