Greetings from the perpetually sunny Los Angeles!

I`m introducing two of my favorite places to 

eat with amazing views and great deals near 

Santa Monica Beach. 

I started out my day at Shutters on the Beach.

Shutters on the Beach Hotel is a gorgeous beach-house inspired

luxury hotel with a perfect view of the Santa Monica Pier,

located walking distance from 3rd Street Promenade.

From the left, flat bread topped with goat cheese and 

sun-dried cherry tomatoes, lobster rolls, and Mai Tai cocktails.

The drinks are perfect, with a hint of lemon liqueur, summery

and perfect for a typical sunny afternoon by the beach.

I had burgers and fries too because, why not?

The burgers are thick and juicy, and our servers

cooked the beef patties medium rare as per request.

The food is excellent, surprisingly the patio was not too full

even on a holiday morning, making for a perfect relaxing morning..

not to mention a spectacular view of the oceanfront of 

the picture perfect Santa Monica Pier. 

Another favorite place is  Herringbone, located

right on Ocean Avenue. I`m a huge fan of their fresh

seafood and the scenic, chic atmosphere.

They have an entire wall of live ivy, rustic wooden f

flooring that give it an earthy, garden-like vibe.

Pictured below is a plate of  their market-fresh oysters.

Monday through Friday (5pm to 7pm) they serve oysters at

1$ per piece, perfect for the large portions that I always crave...

Pictured below is baked corn and fresh scallops.

Dessert was spectacular as well.. chocolate ice cream

topped with meringue, slivered dark chocolate, 

glazed with caramel.
