Did you know Bear Moutain in the San Bernadino Mountains has skiing and snowboarding within a 90 minute drive from downtown Los Angeles?

Bear Mountain’s summit of 8,805 ft (2,684 m) is Southern California's highest peak served by a lift. Bear Mountain relies heavily on artificial snowmaking but this year the resort has already received a substantial amount of snow and is gearing up for a long season.  It has 62 runs with 30% beginner slopes and 70% intermediate and above.

Lift ticket rates vary according to the date but average around $90 for a full day of skiing.  You can get a full array of ski or snowboard equipment rentals as well as lessons for any skill level and age group.

Bear Mountain has an In-ground Superpipe, Halfpipe, and so many rails, boxes and jumps to test your skills.
