Max's of Manila, Glendale (Filipino Cuisine) 

This restaurant was founded in 1945 by Maximo Gimenez a Stanford-educated teacher in the Philippines right after World War II and befriended american troops while in the Philippines which became his customers after starting to do the restaurant business.

The restaurant has been in the business for 70 years. They opened up a restaurant in Vancouver, BC Canada and Middle East. Over the years, with more than 100 restaurants in the philippines, became so popular and became known as "the House that Fried Chicken Built".
