Recently I went to The Delicatessen by Osawa for lunch.  The food is SO good.

Located in Pasadena, Delicatessen offers dishes, locally sourced, and organic traditional and contemporary Japanese style deli items.

You can grab items “to go” or sit and enjoy your food in a hip yet casual atmosphere.

The menu does change frequently but they offer sides like eggplant and tofu,  spicy sesame gobo, renkon & kinpira, hijiki & soy beans, and hari hari daikon to name just a few.

Hot items, entrée salads, donburi and “grab and go” bento box and rolls are all ready or quick to prepare and SO delicious.

Prices are reasonable for the quality and well worth experiencing on your next trip to Pasadena.

They are open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00am till 7:00pm, closed on Monday.

Try them sometime, you will like it, I am sure.
