The Santa Cruz Boardwalk is an icon of the area, and it really does feel like a beach town. We went on a weekend so the boardwalk was crowded but open much later. Depending on the day, the park closes earlier so definitely check beforehand! =)

サンタクルズ・ボードウォークにいったよ。すごくたのしくっていろんな乗り物にも乗れたよ！

When we got there parking was a flat rate of $15, to be paid before or after. The weather was nice when we went, not too cold or hot, so we got to enjoy the rides.

To get on the rides you need to purchase a reloadable card or a all-day pass wristband. Since each ride is about $5-7, I recommend getting the all-day wristband if you plan on riding more than 5 rides. 

We got some churros at the boardwalk! This flavor was blue raspberry. It was good, but I think I prefer the classic flavor.

美味しかったけど、やっぱりクラシックの味が一番だねー!

Then we got on some rides, including the Sky Glider, a relaxing ride that takes you from one side of the boardwalk to the other. I'm a bit scared of heights so I got a little nervous! 

There were many more rides, including a historic wooden roller coaster. All the rides were fun, although not necessarily scary. If you enjoy a carnival atmosphere, I think you'd really enjoy the Santa Cruz Boardwalk!

I had a lot of fun. It was nice having the added bonus of being able to walk out onto the beach if you want, as it's right next to the boardwalk!
