One of my favorite drives to see a portion of the California that is untouched by development is along Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) just south of Point Mugu in Malibu.

Last weekend, I happened upon a restaurant along the beach called Neptune's Net.

The restaurant is on PCH, very casual (t-shirt and shorts) with ample parking. The seating is shared picnic tables or small tables that seat 4 people.

The food options are plentiful with fried seafood dominating the menu but also has soup, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and salads. They also offer freshly steamed seafood as well as some grilled seafood options.

They also have a wide selection of beer and wine.

It is a little bit far from downtown LA but well worth the drive.
