I went to the Museum called The Broad which is located downtown LA. It is a contemporary art museum.
The Broad makes its collection of contemporary art from the 1950s to the present accessible to the widest possible audience by presenting exhibitions and operating a lending program to art museums and galleries worldwide.
Admission is free! However, you will have to wait in line. You can reserve your tickets (again still free), in advance so that you don't have to wait in line. The museum is closed on Mondays and during the major holidays. If it's too busy they may close early so I would suggest reserving your tickets or visit early in the day.
The museum is filled with many famous comtemporary art.
The one exibition that is not included in the admission ticket is Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrors. You will have to reserve once you go in to the museum. There is a kiosk/ipad where it's first-come, first-served basis to see the The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away. You will get 45 seconds in the mirror room, but it feels even shorter because the experience is amazing!
If you enjoy art museums or contemporary art, I highly recommend The Broad!
