This time I want to talk you about the traditional event that every year my country offers to residents and tourists from all over Italy that many come to visit us to taste our "sagne".
The festival of sagne is a traditional folk festival, which sees a strong participation by the inhabitants of the territory and is held on August 20 of each year dedicated to the tasting of typical home-made egg pasta, in the center of Scandriglia .
In addition to "Sagne" handmade according to the ancient recipe, there are samples of “bruschetta” (slices of toasted bread with oil)
topped with olive oil and other goodies from local.

The first edition of the festival dates back to 1986, the "Sagne" (noodles) dish ruler of the popular party in the country are being prepared by local housewives with a paste made of water, flour, salt and eggs, and topped with gravy sauce.

Paste of flour and eggs, without water, piled, pulled into sheets and cut entirely by hand according to ancient tradition. It is topped with tomato sauce, bacon, bacon, beef finely chopped by hand, strictly no ground, and
local olive oil. The sprinkled with cheese. Everything is served on a china plate that visitors can bring home.
