‘MACCHERONI’ Restaurant in Rome

Outside the location is very romantic, inside the restaurant gives you the real idea of the typical local food culture.

I choose often this nice restaurant, because the quality of the food is very good and the staff is always kind.

You can start your dinner or luch with specials hors d'oeuvre such as a mix of cheeses, Bufala Mozzarella, ham and delicious things like that.

Then if you want to try the typical local pasta, I suggest you one of these 3 different dishes:

'Pasta alla Carbonara', made with bacon and cream of egg, 'Pasta alla Amatriciana', made with tomatoes and bacon or 'Pasta Cacio e Pepe', made with Pecorino cheese and pepper...

If you don’t eat meet, you have a lot of good dishes to eat, such as this amazing ‘Pasta with Zucchini and Provola cheese’…Buonissima

Or a very good ‘Pasta with basil and Pachino Tomatoes’..very fresh ingredients and amazing taste!

Are you curious about the way the chef will make your pasta? You can go to the kitchen windows and watch him cooking! The kitchen’s walls are all made of glass, so that the clients could watch the cooking procedure!

At the end of your dinner or lunch, I suggest you to ask for the homemade ‘tozzetti biscuits’….so good to have them with a coffee or red wine!
