Dear bloggers,
Today I would like to show you something interesting that does not directly concern Italy, but is becoming very popular here both as a show and as a dance: Argentine tango.
Italy has always been very open minded to the traditions and cultures of other countries and I believe that also the increase of tango shows here may confirm it.
Many italians are attracted by tango happenings that may take place both in clubs or even on the street as this one where I have been to.
Many people in Italy have been recently fashinated by tango events and day by day always more people are approaching to this kind of music and dance.
For the ones that don't know it, tango is an argentinian dance based on improvisation, characterized by elegance and passion. The basic step of the tango is the step itself, it really looks like a kind of a danced walk.
The show starts :
The position of dance is a frontal embrace more or less asymmetric, depending on the style, in which the man with the right surrounds the back of your dancer and with his left hand holding her hand, thus creating a greater distance between the left shoulder man and the right woman.
They guy moves all around step by step and it really seems like he's having a walk while dancing!
and when the show finishes it's the turn of the italian dancers imitating the argentians professionists!!!
It seems like they're walking, aren't they ?
Why don't you try it in your next trip to Italy ?
I hope you enjoyed it! Luca
