Today I would like to introduce you to a 5 stars hotel in Rome:

The hotel name is “The Westin Excelsior”, a luxury category hotel of the Starwood chain, situated in Via Vittorio Veneto, 125, the most well-known street in Rome!!

Known as the "magnificent white palace on Via Veneto", The Westin Excelsior Rome is nearby to Piazza di Spagna and the Villa Borghese gardens and is considered to be one of the world's great classic hotels.

Since 1906, The Westin Excelsior Rome has hosted celebrities, statesmen and artists visiting the Eternal City.
The Hotel is one of the cities most imposing palaces, rich in history and located on one of the most celebrated and talked about streets of Rome, closed to the main attractions in Rome : the legendary Via Veneto, nestled between the Spanish steps and the Borghese Gardens & Gallery.

The hotel hosts 281 guest rooms and 35 suites! You can find the indoor relaxing pool, with health and fitness centre.

Some rooms description:
Located on the fifth and sixth floors of the hotel, overlooking the Via Veneto, Villa la Cupola is the largest suite in Italy. The central attraction is undoubtedly the domed living room, which features a breath-taking frescoed Cupola. The imposing dome, almost 12 meters high, has been entirely hand frescoed. A private elevator and a marble staircase lead to the upper floor of the suite, with its own private fitness room, sauna, steam bath and a magnificent Pompeian style Jacuzzi pool with mosaic floors, vaulted ceiling and frescoes recalling the atmosphere of ancient Roman baths.

The Imperial Suite is situated on the first floor of the Hotel, composed of a circular sitting room with wide windows overlooking the gardens of the American Embassy on one side and the world-famous Via Veneto on the other. The spacious living room and its imposing columns are bordered by a meeting room for up to ten people connecting to a private office. The suite features up to two bedrooms; one distinguished by a fresco decorated ceiling and the second by a huge Imperial bed.

The Grandeluxe Suite is composed of an entrance with a spacious living room, a large bedroom Equipped with a king, or two-twin Heavenly Beds and a main bathroom. Grandluxe Suites are also available in Imperial style, emphasizing original period furniture and bespoke fittings. Rooms are enriched by luxury carpets, velvet curtains and Bohemian chandeliers.

The Junior Suite is composed of a separate living area and the bedroom Equipped with a king, or two-twin Heavenly Beds.
These rooms are characterized by Imperial style décor. They feature soft velvet armchairs, rich damask patterns on wall upholstery and bedding, Bohemian chandeliers, soft carpets and elaborate gold engraved ceilings.

Grandluxe Room offers the same amenities as the Deluxe Rooms but with more space. The Empire or Biedermeier style rooms are accented by a white-and-gold ceiling and a crystal chandelier. These rooms have one king or two twin Westin Heavenly Beds and some overlook Via Veneto.

Deluxe Room are available with one king or two twin Westin Heavenly Beds, and adorned with a white-and-gold ceiling, crystal chandelier, sumptuous wall coverings and lush carpets, the rooms are beautifully decorated in either Empire or Biedermeier style.

Restaurant Doney and the Bar complete the hotel equipment!

The restaurant Doney is a natural sidewalk on Via Veneto and it has a new décor born from a stylish research by Artestudio and Baxter as for the connected h club>doney, the nearby lounge bar, gathering place of the roman life.
