Hi Everybody!
Today I'd like to talk you about a special place in Rome, maybe less famous then others , but fantastic as welll, the "GIARDINO DEGLI ARANCI" - "THE GARDEN OF ORANGE TREES"
This is a place where you can relax and enjoy a wonderful landscape of Rome at the same time.

.
In fact, it is like a small garden surrended by lots of Orange trees which give it this name. But at the end of the garden there is a balcony which show you the Tevere river and some of the best attractions of Rome. From there, you can see S. Peter's and the Altare della Patria.

It's one of the best view of Rome from the top together with the Pincio view.
The best time to visit it it's in the afternoon, so you can have a pic nic lying on the grass and, when the sun go down, enjoy a briethtaking sunset on Rome.

Near the Giardino degli Aranci, there is also another place, called gate of the Priory of the Knights of Malta, from where you can see in a small hole S. Peter's Basilica.

If you are interested in visit this place , take the metro B till CIRCO MASSIMO. From there 10 min on foot. If you ask to someone for sure will be glad to help you.
