Today I want to introduce you the method to do “the Chocolate Log”. I did it for today 6th January for “Epiphany” holiday.
For Sponge cake
Flour 90 gr
Sugar 90 gr
Eggs 5
Honey
For the filling: nutella
1-whisk eggs with sugar until to get a light cream.
2- Sift flour baking powder salt on the cream.
3- Lay a baking parchment on the baking sheet.
4- Bake the cake in a prehated oven 200 grades for 6-7 minutes.
5-The hot sponge cake should be poured with sugar and covered wuth cling film.
6- After 20 minutes turn the cake and remove the parchment.
7- Spread the nutella and do the roll.
8- put it in the refrigerateur for a few minutes and then it is ready to eat :)
