today I’d like to introduce you a brand new Roma Pass card 48 hours, the cultural and touristic product for those who visit the city of Rome.

This card provides a number of free offers and discounts at museums and archaeological sites and the free use of the public transportation within the city of Rome.

 It differs from Roma Pass card, that I introduced you last month, because Roma Pass card 48 hours is valid for 48 hours, while Roma Pass card is valid for 3 days.

Price of Roma Pass 48 hours is cheaper than the other one and the right product for those who visit Rome for a limited time.

Roma Pass card 48 hours provides:

• Free admission to the first museum and / or archaeological sites of your choice. Gratuity includes also eventual shows provided by this museum.
• Discounts to all museums and / or archaeological sites.
• Free access to transportation. Valid 48 hours from the first validation for access to museums, archaeological sites and local public transport. Valid on all means of local public transport operated by Atac (bus, tram, A, B, B1 and C subway and regional railways Roma-Lido, Rome-Viterbo Flaminio Piazza del Popolo and Rome-Gardens).

At the Colosseum you can use a direct access to the site reserved for Roma Pass card holders.

If you purchase the Roma Pass 48 hours card you will receive a kit where you will find:

• Roma Pass card 48 hours: the card to use to visit museums and access to public transportation.

 You have to fill up the back of the card with your name and date of activation.

The card is valid 48 hours from the activation.

• Roma MAP: Map with Tourist Information Points, Metro stations, museums / sites (address, phone numbers, buses and underground stations, timetables);

• Rome è: the card to download Roma pass APP for your mobile phone

How to use:

• Remember to activate it  when accessing the first site / museum, or on the first trip on a public transport
• Bring the Roma Pass with you and show it in case of request of control, along with a valid ID

Roma Pass card can be purchased at Termini station counter and of course you can buy it also at H.I.S. Tour Desk .
