Dear bloggers,
today I’d like to suggest you to visit an interesting, popular event called “ Sagra”.
The “ Sagra” are events related to the products of the land, culture and popular music, religion and traditional crafts.
These events are a moment of social gathering in the streets and squares of the cities, especially the small ones, where you can eat and enjoy local and traditional dishes, wines, meats and cheeses.
The photos are taken from “Sagra della Bruschetta” of Casaprota, a little district in Lazio, where I was last January.
A small festival indeed, but very pretty.
One of the most interesting things is the possibility to buy local products, genuine and unique flavor!
The atmosphere was very cosy with nice people and good music.
Here a traditional duo of fok music performing very funny and popolar songs :)
During the event there was also a show of typical popular dance.
Italy has a plenty of this traditional events all period of the year and in all regions, so if you’re interested in partecipating to something different you can google “ sagre in Italia” and find out the one closer to your location!
Hope you enjoy reading!
