Hello Everbody!
Today I'd like to suggest to you a nice corner of France in the centre of Rome. I'm talking about a nice restaurant called "Le Carré Français" and located near Castel Sant'Angelo.
Is is a very nice location, with fine furniture and kind staff. Some of them speaks also French, so you can really experience the funny situation that you are in Rome but seams you are in Paris.
Food is also good and typical. I personally enjoyed it a lot
About starters, i took some foie gras and a small piece of quiche lorraine.
A glass of Chardonnay wine was perfect with them!
Then, i took two kind of soup (one with onions and onother one with meat and vegetables). Very tasty!
Finally, i took a dish with duck and wine on the top. Very delicious!
At the end of the dinner i also tried a dessert (a typical French chocolate bigne). There was a lot of choice!
This restaurant is very nice and there is also a kind of market inside, where you can buy some frech bread or croissant , or some cheese and wine.
I really suggest it!
Enjoy!
LINDA
