Once again I want to tell you about my country of origin(^-^), but this time just touching the tastebuds.
I want you know the sweets that drive me crazy
: "I MURZILLITTI" it’s the original name in my dialect.
ムルジリッティが大好き

Murzillitti it’s a typical Christmas biscuits shaped like a rhombus, spicy taste with honey, nuts, eggs, extra virgin olive oil, cinnamon, pepper and nutmeg.
I guess the recipe is very archaic, as instead of sugar and butter includes honey and oil.
Now will I teach you to prepare it
.....
Ingredients (for 72 murzillitti):
1 kg of honey, 1 kg of chopped walnuts, 2 eggs, 1 cup oil, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and a generous grinding of pepper, 1/2 nutmeg, the juice of 2 oranges, zest of 3 lemons and amount of collection from mixing flour (in this case 1.3 kg).
1 First you have to grind all nuts and small pieces

2 Grate the zest of lemons

3 Mix all ingredients

4 Mix honey with chunks of nuts, eggs, oil, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour

5 Mix to obtain a homogeneous

6 Roll out the dough, reducing it to about 1 cm thick layers

7 The traditional form is a rhombus obtained with a wooden mold

8 These molds were usually carved by men, often shepherds, who embellished the surface inlaided. The mold you see in this photograph was left to my mother from an old neighbor. To carve had been her husband. Now that you have done all rhombuses, are ready for cooking
9 Then bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30/40 minutes
until they have assumed the typical coloring.

CHE BUONIIIIII! 美味しい!!!
A PRESTO!
