Osteria del Cavaliere is a typical Roman restaurant in Rome. There are different kind of dishes, not only of the traditional Roman cookery but also original of Abruzzo (Italian region close to Lazio).

Vegetables starter:Cauliflowers,courgettes,eggplants,small peppers,chicory,mushrooms,radicchio
Bruschette (toasted bread) with different sauces : sliced tomatoes, pea –sauce,truffle sauce,pepper sauce
Scamorza (Italian cheese) with zucchini and pistachio.
You can also try a typical mix of Italian cheese and cured meats
Gnocchi (potato dumplings) with bacon and radicchio

Tonnarelli del Cavaliere:Pasta with bacon,pepper,ricotta (soft cheese)
Amatriciana:Pasta with tomato sauce,bacon and pepper
Tonnarelli with mushrooms
You can also try different kind of meat:grilled beef,thinly sliced raw meat,lamb.
I also tried different kind of dessert:
Apple dumpling with hazelnuts
Tiramisu with strawberries
Chocolate mousse with strawberries
There’s a choice of white and red wine and grappa as well.

I found this place very pleasant and comfortable. The staff is very kind and cordial. They can suggest very good and particular dishes.
