Dear all,

today I will talk about Lecce (Puglia), called also "the Florence of the south of Italy" thanks to his beautiful monuments, but also countryside sourrended by oil trees.

April, March, September and October are maybe the best seasons to visit Puglia, because the weater is good but not too much hot for a walking in the city.

Lecce has a becautiful square, with lots of Bar, Pizzeria, Restaurant, and shops.
In the middle of the place there is an obelisk with the statue of St. Oronzo.

Not so far from the square, there is a small "ARENA" , similar to the Arena in Verona. Even if it's smaller is beautiful to see as well.

Walking inside the small and characteristic streets of the city, you can reach the Dome. It is located inside a square and it's so beautiful even in the nights, thanks to the lights on.

During the night, enjoy a dinner in a typical "trattoria", which serve local food and taste a glass of regional wine.

In Italy wine of Puglia is very famous, as well as oil.

If you like Italian oil and would you like to have and oil tasting, you can go in the countryside of Lecce and stop in an agrotourism.

At the same time, you can enjoy the panorma made of oil trees.

And if it's not enough, you can also reach the beach in just 20 minutes by car or by bus and enjoy the sea and seafood.

Lecce is really one of the most beautiful city in the south of Italy.

Bye Bye

LINDA
