Dear All,
today I would like to speak about the sea around Rome and its leisure.
The territory of Rome stands out not only for the art that you can meet in the city center but also for its proximity to the sea.
The Roman coast stretching from north to south for many kilometers, so the landscape
you can see is very varied: from the rocks to clear and fine sand, going to beach with small pebbles and sand with other almost black. Even the sea varies in color depending on where you are: a very deep green to blue.
Thanks to the climate of this Italian region, the people of Rome begin to go to the beach since mid-May to mid-September in some years it has been possible to anticipate this date since the end of April.
Fishing is particularly active around the coastline, particularly the sardine fishery, the cockles and that of the mantis (cicadas).
Along the coast there are 4 Roman lighthouses for navigation (Capo d'Anzio, Fiumicino currently inactive, Cape Linaro and Civitavecchia).
The entire coastline is equipped with beach umbrellas, deck chairs, bar, music, and everything you need to ensure full relaxation and entertainment within walking distance from Rome.

From sunset onwards, these places are transformed into veritable city of entertainment,
establishments closed umbrellas and chairs to make room for sofas and chairs where you can enjoy a drink by the sea, listening to good music.

See you at the next post and enjoy it!
