Dear bloggers,
Today I’d like to introduce you a very good restaurant in Frascati, located in the area of the Castelli Romani, the restaurant "Zarazà"
Frascati is located about 30 km from Rome and since it’s at an higher altitude, you can enjoy a very beautiful view of the city at your arrival.
“Zarazà’” is located in the center of Frascati and has a nice terrace with a great view of Rome.
It’s handle by a local family and the dishes are from the traditional Roman cuisine.
The waiters, two brothers, will advise you in the choice of food and wine to match, with kindness and professionalism.
Definitely try the typical white wine of Frascati, in addition to a generous wine list.
The restaurant serves both meat and fish, but the Castelli Romani area is known mostly for based meat dishes, so I chose this menu:
Appetizer of the house: rolls with bacon colonnade and raisins, vegetable pie, spelled with pecorino cheese and black olives
First course: “carbonara not carbonara”, pasta with eggs and sausage, fennel, pecorino cheese and pepper
Second course: lamb with roasted almonds and grapes
Sweet: panna cotta with caramel and currants
It was really a long time since I ate a roman cuisine so tasty, so I really recommend it to everyone without doubts.
The restaurant is located in Via Regina Margherita 45, 00044 Frascati, Italy.
You can reach Frascati from Rome by car in 30 minutes or by train from Rome's Termini Station.
I hope you enjoyed reading!
