On saturday the 7th of February at 15:30 Italy played his first game of the Six Nations tournament against Ireland at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and I saw that.
The Italian rugby players began their tournament losing to the champion Ireland, but after an hour of desperate defense that had left Italy attached to the match.
In the second half, however, Italy had collapsed (3-26) at the foot of an Ireland ordered and determined. despair

Rugby is a sport enjoyed not only from an athletic standpoint, but also from a human one. Players and fans of the teams are indeed famous for their great sportsmanship. During a game the atmosphere is of joy and festivity, rather than hatred or envy. happy02 good

The Six Nations Championship is the most important international rugby tournament in 15 of the Northern Hemisphere. Initially it was an aristocratic tournament, born as Home Championship in 1883 and played only between 4 National of the British Isles (Wales, England, Ireland and Scotland), then it became the “Five Nations” in 1910 with the entry of France, and finally it became the actual tournament with the admission of Italy in 2000.
Currently it is officially known as the “RBS Six Nations” because of the Royal Bank of Scotland sponsorship which has affixed his mark on the competition.

The Six Nations, unlike many other sports tournaments including the same Rugby World Cup, is not played in a single country or city: every nation is home to two or three games, and every nation plays two or three away. Each team plays five games, one against each of the other participating teams, and earn two points for a win and one for a draw: in case one team is in joint with another, it won the team with the best points difference overall. The team winning all the five games get the “Grand Slam”, in slang.
Last year the tournament was won by Ireland. Since 2000, the tournament has been won five times by France, four by England and Wales and twice by Ireland. Italy and Scotland have never won.

I leave you with a quote on the rugby from the film "Invictus" by Clint Eastwood: " Well, you know what they say about soccer. It's a gentleman's game played by hooligans. On the other hand, rugby is a hooligans game played by gentlemen”sign01

Thank you for reading, shine happy01 shine
