Today I'd like to explain you how to cook spaghetti Carbonara style.
INGREDIENTS: 250 gr spaghetti 1 tablespoon olive oil 8 slices bacon 1 chopped onion 1 clove minced garlic White wine 4 eggs ½ cup grated Pecorino cheese Salt&pepper like to explain you how to cook spaghetti Carbonara style.
DIRECTIONS: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti pasta until al dente.
Meanwhile in a large skillet, add oil, onion, garlic and chopped bacon and cook until slightly crisp; add also ¼ white wine.
Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl tossing constantly with tongs or large fork until eggs are barely set. Quickly add 1/2 cup of Pecorino cheese, and toss again. Add salt and pepper to taste.
As soon as spaghetti will be cooked until al dente, drain well and add it to the skillet with crispy bacon. Quickly, add the cream of beaten eggs with Pecorino cheese and toss again keeping a medium heat, just for a few minutes.
Serve immediately with extra Pecorino cheese at table.
