I visited this wonderful American style bakery some weeks ago and it was really fantastic. The food and in particular the cakes were excellent and the service was really great.

This is not the place for those who want to experience the typical Italian bakery and cafe

The concept is American, with cupcakes, muffins, cheesecakes, Red Velvet cakes, scones, cinnamon buns, donuts, eggs, sandwiches and bagels too, along with American coffee or smoothies, milk and tea.

The pastel colors lining the interior resemble a cafe in a small American town. The decor makes it cozy and very pleasant even though the place is quite small.

The waitress has a tablet in her hand to take your order.

I have never tried the brunch or the bagels in Bakery House but I can say that the cakes and muffins were yummy. When I went there we got coffees, special cakes and a cupcake. They were good and tasty!

We have a Carrot cake, with carrots, creamcheese, cinnamon and walnuts (this is my favourite);

Vanilla Strawberry cake, made by vanilla sponge cake and strawberry creamcheese;

Lemon raspberry layer cake, made by lemon sponge cake, with raspberry jam and lemon creamcheese;

and a cupcake with a biscuit on it.

The bakery delivered what it promised: revive a passion for sweets made in the USA. The menu and the place itself have everything you'd expect in a New York bakery!

Bakery House has a few tables: it is better to avoid it for larger groups. If you're on your own for having a brunch, this location is perfect. It has also some IPad mounted on the wall to browse the Internet.

I can highly recommend this place for spending some time with your friends.

The prices are just a tiny bit higher that the average, but not enough to stop me from going there again!
