Hello Bloggers,
Some days ago I tried this place for an aperitif around the corner from San Giovanni in Laterano.
It is a cute spot and has a location that combines the simplicity but also the sophistication of a bistrot, wrapped by history. The Aqueduct and the portal of San Giovanni in Laterano are behind the scenes of this local that organized intelligently an outdoor space usable also in rainy days.
The location is a bijou. The place has a nice ambience: small oranges, bohemian tables, elegant and relaxing. Having a drink under the sky of Rome is something unique!
It is very nice and well cared and kept; in Spring time it is a pleasure to sit on the porch and have a drink. Nice buffet stocked, appetizers which are tasty and good, as well as beautifully presented.
And of course it offers also good cocktails (I took a Spritz, but I had already tried other in the past). The price of 10 Euro is a bit high, mildly higher but average, considering the central location.
The aperitif was very pleasant to see and good to eat, and also the young and friendly staff was very well dressed.
Sometimes they organize selected entertainment with excellent artists. With all these things, and a stunning and enchanting setting due to the presence the portal of San Giovanni as a background, I highly recommend it!
Moreover, it is not just a bar but also a restaurant: in short, a perfect place to eat, but also to spend a nice evening with friends.
