Hello Everybody!

Today i'd like to suggest to you an area of Rome, less famous than others but very nice. It's EUR area.

This part of Rome is very different from the city center, no old buildings and ancient monuments, but everything is modern, and built during the fascism period. Here you can see the obelisc, Palazzo della Civiltà italiana, Palazzo dei Congressi, the Basilic of S. Peter and Paolo, and finally the Laghetto.

In particular I really suggest a walking around the laghetto, where you can seat on the green, to enjoy the sun of the Roman summer, or stop in one of the many kiosk of food, and have a drink or eat an italian sandwich.

Some people like to go there to run or rent a small boat and have a ride on the laghetto.

So if you have 1 week in Rome and you already visited main attractions, don't forget to spent some hours at EUR area.
