Dear all,
today i'd like to let you experience with some pics Rome city during Christmas period.
Same per many cities of the world, during Christmas period, Rome is a wanderful place full of lights, and trees and colors!
I really like Rome in this period. Eveywhere you can find beaufiul decorations (not only in the city center) , and lot of people walk along streets to have some shopping. No matter how cold can be winter. A walk in the historical center of Rome during this period is a MUST!
You can find Christmas trees in many places, like on the top of the Spanish Steps, the famous tree of St Peter's Square, another one near the Vittoriano and also inside the RINASCENTE (the famous shopping center)
I also like see shop windows, especially of partry shops, as in this period you can see wonderful decoration and special dessert made by chocolate or the famous "panettone".
And while are you walking through streets, you cannot be attracted fromt the smell of "caldarroste" (roasted chestnuts). You can take them into a container made of paper and take them away and eat them along the way. Fantastic!
At the end of the walk, you can arrive in Navona Square, and enjoy a glass of wine in one of many restaurants around the square.
Don't miss Rome during Christmas holidays!
LINDA
