Dear all,
today I will talk about Siena, very famous city of Tuscany, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
All around Siena in the beautiful and well-kept countryside with vineyards and olive trees, most of the houses became Residence in Farms or B&B.

 

It's a typical medieval town with narrow streets and brick houses of clay. You will naturally take pictures because a simple street  like these has a special charm.

Then you are going to discover the heart of Siena: Piazza del Campo, the square of the Palio.
The first thing that strikes you about this wonderful place is the flooring: it has a shell shape that tends to go towards the town hall; This particular slope allows viewing of the Palio (famous in all over the world) also to those who are located in the middle of the square that otherwise would not see anything.

Very important is also the Cathedral, the real name is The Metropolitan Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and it's the main place of Catholic worship in Siena , underground bishop's seat of the Archdiocese of Siena-Colle di Val d'Elsa-Montalcino.

However.. I don't want to tell too much of this beautiful city, so it can leave you a little bit of surprise and expectation to see it live.
