サッカーよりもクリケット。
野球よりもクリケット(当然？) バスケよりもバレーボールよりもハンドボールよりもクリケット。
これは紛れも無い事実です。
そんなクリケットを、インド人スタッフと共に観戦に行きました。

観戦中にわかったことは（あっているか定かじゃないです） 野球目線で言うと・・・
1回表裏のみ。20アウトで交代（ここ自信ないです）
ずっと同じバッターが打席に立つ(気付くと変わってる)
ピッチャーの助走がハンパ無い
場内が静かになると、スワローズのラッパが流れる(のようなもの)
チアガールが欧米人
途中で雨が降って中断しましたが、中止は無い
会場でアルコールは売ってない。売り子は男子のみ
理解できないところでのガッツポーズ
まーあれですね。
野球も打ったら右に走るルールは皆さん当然と思いますが、知らない人にとっては何で左に走っちゃダメなの？となりますし、
サッカーは手を使ったらダメ、知らない人にとってはなんでダメなの？そもそもオフサイドって何？となりますし
私が高校時やってたハンドボールはルールを知ってても難しい。。
まずは試合数日前にチケットを買いに行きました。
インドのクリケットリーグの試合はなんと携帯ショップで買えます。現金のみ

席は一階ロアー自由席。基本的に一般席はエリアだけ決まってて自由席らしいです。
場所はOLDデリーのラールキラーの南にあるスタジアムです。コンノートからオートで100ルピー。
車は・・・使わずに行きました。
スタジアム入り口では厳重なチェックがあります。タバコ・ライター・お酒没収です。
そして中に入ると

なんかおしゃれ？
HISデリー支店の大ボス曰く「昔のヤンキースタジアムみたいだ」（元NYC支店駐在）
ぱっと見はよかったです。観客席は・・・汚かったです。敷くものが必要でした。
選手は実際はもっと大きく見えます。ハイダラバードの8番が南アフリカ代表で近くに来るとみんな興奮してました。
そして戦う男がいる場所には、華やかな女性もいます！

目の前の野郎共は試合よりコッチに夢中？！
点が入ったり、盛り上がったプレイがあるとお立ち台の上で踊ります。それ以外はベンチに座ってました。
6箇所くらいにチアガールいました。
うちのスタッフは試合に夢中か？

ところが、開始1時間経過したあたりから雲行きが・・・
小雨で即中断。インドらしくない・・・

そんな中みんなが注目してるのは？
